Had a great experience with Vance and Green Leaf Energy. I scheduled a home performance audit because I wanted a better understanding of where our house was actually losing efficiency and what improvements would be worthwhile, rather than just throwing money at insulation, HVAC work, or other upgrades without knowing what would make a difference.
Vance was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and took the time to explain what he was seeing throughout the house. What I appreciated most was how practical and straightforward he was. He pointed out areas that could be improved, but was also honest when something looked good or when an improvement would be relatively minor. I never felt like he was trying to find problems just to justify more work.
The report was helpful and gave me a much better idea of what to focus on going forward. He also voluntarily adjusted the cost of the audit based on what ended up being needed during the visit, which I really appreciated.
Overall, a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend Green Leaf Energy to anyone looking for a useful, independent assessment of their home.
